Etienne Hightower
Trucker Down Chairman
Seeing the needs of people throughout my career, it has been my life-long dream to launch Trucker Down. I have been in public service for over 20 years, including 5 years as a highway patrolman in South Carolina and 15 years as a federal agent. I dedicated my life to giving through public service, but it was in starting Believers Trucking, in 2018, that I was able to identify the need to start a charity that focused specifically on truck drivers and their families that are facing difficult times.
I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2003, I received my Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Andrew Jackson University. While at the University of South Carolina, I was captain of the varsity baseball team and was drafted out of college by the Milwaukee Brewers, I was drafted out of high school by the San Diego Padres.
