Trucker Down?
Trucker Down is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, minority-founded charity that helps truck drivers and their families in need. We support our truckers and their families in injury, illness, or loss of life.
How Does it Work?
Truckers or their families will complete an application for assistance. Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors for Trucker Down to determine suitable support to keep our drivers healthy and on the road.

Our Mission
Trucker Down is dedicated to supporting truck drivers and their families during times of crisis while also creating pathways for long-term career growth and stability within the trucking industry. Our mission is to provide immediate financial assistance to drivers and families impacted by injury, tragedy, or unexpected hardship, giving them critical short-term support while they navigate insurance claims, employer assistance, and recovery.
In addition to emergency assistance, Trucker Down is committed to strengthening the future of the trucking workforce through education and career development initiatives, including:
Entry-Level Funding: Helping individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to enter the trucking industry and build stable, rewarding careers.
Career Advancement: Assisting underemployed drivers in upgrading from a Class B license, such as dump truck or school bus operators, to a Class A CDL, creating access to higher-paying opportunities and long-term financial growth.
Specialized Endorsements: Providing funding and support for drivers to obtain specialized endorsements, including Hazmat certifications, helping protect critical supply chains and reducing driver shortages within essential industries like fuel transportation.
Through compassion, opportunity, and industry partnership, Trucker Down aims to uplift drivers, strengthen families, and support the future of America’s trucking workforce.
